William Probasco

President & Senior Design Engineer

William Probasco is President of Astro Space and a senior engineering and business executive with more than 35 years of experience in analog, digital, and power-electronics design and engineering management.  His career includes service as Vice President of Operations for Flow Vision, General Manager of Magnetic Specialties, Principal Electrical Design Engineer for NJE, and Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy.

Mr. Probasco’s technical experience encompasses linear and switch-mode power conversion, resonant and ferro-resonant power supplies, switched-capacitor converters, high-voltage systems, and AC/DC, DC/DC, and inverter circuit design.  He is the inventor of four U.S. patents and has extensive experience in computer modeling and analysis of electronic circuits and systems.

As President of Astro Space, Mr. Probasco combines extensive technical, managerial, and business experience in directing engineering design and analysis programs for aerospace, defense, space, medical, and commercial applications.

Lisa Kaplan

Accounting/Bookkeeping

Lisa Kaplan manages all Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and tax issues for Astro Space.she brings with her over 15 years of expertise in the field of bookkeeping.

Henry Behnke

Marketing Manager

Henry Behnke is a senior business executive with extensive international experience in operations, sales, finance, marketing, and business development.  His career includes leadership experience in the thin-film photovoltaic, instrumentation, and process-equipment industries.

Mr. Behnke has successfully led business turnarounds and developed organizations by focusing on sound business fundamentals, market development, customer relationships, and long-term shareholder value.

As Marketing Manager for Astro Space, Mr. Behnke supports business development and customer outreach, helping connect customer engineering requirements with Astro Space’s specialized technical capabilities.

Anthony Kaytes

Vice President of Engineering & Senior Design Engineer

Anthony Kaytes is an accomplished electronic design engineer with more than 30 years of experience in analog and power-electronics design and development.  Prior to joining Astro Space, he served for 25 years as a Senior Principal Engineer at Lockheed Martin Space Systems.

Mr. Kaytes has more than 20 years of engineering program-management experience, combining substantial technical expertise with the ability to lead complex development programs.  His engineering experience includes switch-mode power conversion, analog circuit design, and the development of power-conversion products for space, aircraft, naval, medical, and commercial applications.

As Vice President of Engineering at Astro Space, Mr. Kaytes provides technical and program leadership for Astro Space design, development, and analysis assignments.

Keng C. Wu

Senior Electrical Engineer – Design & Analysis

Keng C. Wu is a senior electrical design and analysis engineer with extensive expertise in analog and power-electronics design.  Prior to joining Astro Space, he served for many years as a Senior Principal Engineer at Lockheed Martin Space Systems, where he developed an extensive record of technical achievement.

Mr. Wu is the inventor or co-inventor of approximately a dozen U.S. patents and was twice recognized by Lockheed Martin as “Author of the Year,” in 2003 and 2006.  In addition to his engineering and analytical work, he has authored several books addressing various aspects of power-electronics design.

At Astro Space, Mr. Wu provides specialized expertise in power-electronics design and analysis, applying decades of experience to complex circuit-design and analytical assignments.

Piotr Legowski

Manager of Mechanical Design

Piotr Legowski is an experienced mechanical engineer specializing in the mechanical design, packaging, and integration of electronic products.  He has more than 12 years of experience supporting aerospace, medical, and industrial applications.

His technical capabilities include CAD drawing generation, 3D solid modeling, electronic packaging, thermal design, tolerance analysis, and stress and dynamics analysis.  His experience enables him to address the mechanical, thermal, structural, and packaging considerations associated with demanding electronic-system designs.

At Astro Space, Mr. Legowski provides the mechanical-design expertise necessary to translate electronic designs into practical, manufacturable assemblies capable of meeting demanding environmental and packaging requirements.

Robert (Bob) Sacatelli

Senior Electrical Engineer

Robert Sacatelli is a senior electrical engineer with more than 30 years of experience in high-voltage power electronics, switch-mode power conversion, analog circuit design, and electronic product development.  Prior to joining Astro Space, he served for more than 30 years as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Lockheed Martin Space Systems.

Mr. Sacatelli also brings extensive engineering program-management experience, combining detailed technical expertise with the ability to manage complex development programs.  His career includes the design and development of both high- and low-voltage analog and power-conversion products for space, aircraft, naval, medical, and commercial applications.

At Astro Space, Mr. Sacatelli applies this experience to the design, development, and analysis of high-reliability power-electronic systems for demanding customer applications.
